Genealogy of the James Franklin Bliss Family James Franklin Bliss, farmer and sawyer, of Greenfield Township, Huron County, Ohio, was born there July 13, 1848 (the son of Jonathan Bliss and Margaret Inscho of Greenfield Twp.) He was married August 20, 1869 to Augusta L. Hodges, who was born February 20, 1848 at Havanna, Ohio. Children: Nellie Frrances, b. Jan. 12, 1872, William Albert, b. Dec. 18, 1873, d. Oct. 24, 1945, and Murtie, b. 1879-1880. He was afterwards married to Margaret Ann Mohler (daughter of Rebecca Mohler) who was born in September of 1861 in Ohio.
