[45] In 1997, June, I visited Prairie View Cemetary in Burlington, KA. Thegravesite marker for both Uriah Coy & Abigail Champlin Coy is there inexcellent condition and I took pictures. In the Abigail Champlin,daughter of Uriah Auchmore Champlin and Polly Card, was born atSherburne (Chenango County) New York on August 2, 1831 and died onJune 6, 1922 - probably in Kansas.

In the 1830 Census, Abigail was enumerated with her parents atSherburne (Chenango County) New York as one of two females less thanfive years old.

On December 3, 1851 Abigail was married to Uriah Comfort Coy at Smyrna(Chenango County) New York in a wedding ceremony conducted by theReverend Livermore. Uriah, son of Comfort Coy, was born at Lebanon(Madison County) New York on April 25, 1826 and died at Iola (AllenCounty) Kansas on November 15, 1909. He was buried in the Prairie ViewCemetery at Burlington (Coffey County) Kansas.
