[1084] Some references say that he was born in 1739 meaning that 1751 couldhave been a baptismal date. The age of his wife suggests that 1739 isthe more likely date, as does the date of his death, considering thathe was a ship's Captain. Robert died probably during a voyage toAfrica. In his Will, dated June 12, 1786 he says: "Being forthwithto depart on a voyage to Africa, do make this my last Will andTestament".
