This not-for-profit family association has been created to sort out the genealogical relationships of those folks who have Kalar ancestors, including all the variations associated with that name. Kalar, Kaler, Köhler, Koehler, Koeler, and Kaylor, are but a few of the spelling variations that you might encounter. The Kalar spelling became more commonly accepted after the Civil War, however, some early branches of the family may not have adopted that spelling.
