Rev. Ransom Deal who served  as Pvt.  Vaughn's Co (Beat 9) Dale County Reserves is buried in the Union Cemetery, Ozark; Al.

D. D. DuBose enlisted 3/10/1862 in the 45th Alabama Infantry, Company A, at Clayton, Alabama.

Millie DuBose, widow of D. D. DuBose, filed claim 8/25/1863 at Clayton Alabama.

I have a Daniel D. DuBose that was grandson of Jeremiah DuBose and Rebecca Hampton. I would like to know if this is the same D. D. DuBose. Not sure how to research it, but thought possibly a marriage certificate might help if one could be located. Or, if there are any descendants of this D. D. DuBose and wife Millie, I would be happy to hear from them.

"My" Daniel was born ca 1827 (was 21 by 1848), but his parentage is unknown (specifically father and mother). He was a grandson of Jeremiah DuBose, Pike County, Ala, and was named in Jeremiah's will, written in 1839.
