James E. Windham, Jul 27, 1840- Jul 19, 1888 served in the Civil War as Pvt., Co D, 53d Partisan Rangers
(53d Ala Cav. Rgt. ); don't know when Margaret died, but if she filed for a Widow's Pension, could be some  good information at the Ala State Archives; he is listed at the National Archives as J. E. Windham.

Elijah W. Willis of Abbeville stated on the 1907 Census: born 1826 Pulaski County Ga; enl at Abbeville Apr 1, 1863 as Pvt, Co E, 6th Ala Inf Rgt, continued until the close of war; never discharged  paroled.

Robert W. Wynn, May 16, 1830-Dec 3, 1903; served in the CW as Sgt, Co
G, 33d Ala Inf Rgt; enlsted at Dale- ville Mar Mar 29, 1862; wounded at
Murfreesboro, Tenn Dec 31, 1862 by a musket thrust; wounded again at
Chickamauga, Ga Sep, 19, 1863; buried Hartford City Cemetery in Geneva County; wife V. Matilda, 1835-1914.
