45th Alabama Volunteer Infantry Regiment Roster by the Companies Company A
Daniel enrolled March 10, 1862 at Clayton, Alabama. His muster records of March 27, 1826 him as being 36 years old. He was captured at Franklin Tennessee Dec. 17, 1864, sent to Louisville, Ky. and thence to Camp Chase, Ohio. On Feb. 18, 1865 he was sent to the notorious Point Look Out, Md. Union Prison of War camp. He was released June 7, 1865. He is shown on records of Number 1 USA hospital with gunshot fracture of right index and middle finger. Hs is also shown in the Ocmulgee hospital list with chronic diarrhea July 31, 1864. Daniel is registered on Henry County census 1907, stating that he enlisted as a 2nd Sgt., 1862 at Louisville, Alabama. To see Daniel's family tree click here.
