Rocky Mount

The records of Rocky Mt. Methodist Church were destroyed in a fire. The following is a physical inventory of the cemetery combined with various other sources in an attempt to provide as complete a record as possible of the nearly five hundred interments there. There are many unmarked graves in this cemetery. Through the use of these additional sources we have included names of some individuals who are reportedly buried there yet do not have a legible marker identifying their grave. This accounts for a few of the many unmarked graves. These interments will be listed with an asterisk preceding their name.
