What an unusual marker it is a whiskey bottle.  Apparently the wife told her husband if he didn't quit drinking whiskey she would mark his grave with a whiskey bottle.  She was a woman of her word and here is the proof.

This is the Whiskey Grave, also what the grave said:

In Memory of
W.T. Mullen-s/o:
J. and N. Mullen
Born
In Talbotton, Ga.
June 18th, 1834
Died
July 18, 1863

To the left of him was an unmarked grave (marked only with two footers, one at the head and one at the foot,
no initials, or names on them)  To the right of him
His and his wife Mary A's. child:

Mary Arabella-d/o:
W.T. & Mary A.
Mullen
Born
June 17, 1862
Died
Aug. 13, 1863
