What an unusual marker it is a whiskey bottle. Apparently the wife told her husband if he didn't quit drinking whiskey she would mark his grave with a whiskey bottle. She was a woman of her word and here is the proof.
To the left of him was an unmarked
grave (marked only with two footers, one at the head and one at the foot,
no initials, or names on them) To the right of him. His
and his wife Mary A's. child:
I visited the Clayton Cemetery Jul 2, 2000 searching for BUSH
relatives.
