Elam Baptist Church Cemetery is located on County Road 8, just west of Elamville, in southwestern Barbour County.  It is primarily a twentieth century cemetery with all but a few of the approximately 470 identified interments being since 1900.  There are numerous others burials here that are unmarked.  Surnames found here include: Adamson, Andrews, Arrington, Baker, Barber, Barr, Black, Brock, Burk, Burke, Byrd, Campbell, Carter, Cherry, Clark, Cox, Crofford, Danner, Dansby, Dawkins, Deal, Dickson, Dorrill, Dunn, Evans, Evins, Faulk, Garner, Garris, Goodson, Green, Hall, Hagler, Hegler, Hartzog, Hornsby, Ivey, Jenkins, Johnson, Jones, Ketcham, King, Lunsford, Maquire, McKnight, McLane, McLendon, Middlebrooks, Oleksiak, Patterson, Pelham, Phillips, Powell, Price, Pugh, Robinette, Robinson, Scroggins, Silvant, Shiver, Slawson, Stafford, Stokes, Sutton, Szymanski, Teal, Teel, Terry, Thompson, Wallace, Waller, Warrick, Wilkerson, Wilkes, Wilks, Wilkinson, and Wilson.
