There are three marked but unnamed graves in the northeastern corner of the cemetery.
This is an indication that they were close and trusted slaves.
The story that is told is that all three died of Scarlet Fever at about the same time.

Vera Paul                       July 31,1900    Oct 14,1900     Dau of WM & MF Paul See note below
Note: Vera Paul may have been a typo in the original transcription and might should be Vera Paulk.
This reasoning comes from the fact that Charlie Oscar Richardson had a son named William Dean Richardson
who married Mary Elizabeth Paulk, born in 1914, she was the daughter of Charlie Paulk and
Vera Tillman Paulk. So, the Vera Paul (Paulk?) may be a relative of Mary Elizabeth Paulk Richardson.
This is strickly speculation on my part.

Abner Thomas Dean b. 18 Jun 1825 in GA m. Mary Catherine Sheffield, d/o J. Thomas Sheffield and Nancy Bush Beasley
Elizabeth Dean b. 07 May 1831 No marriage information available
Jarret W. Dean b. 05 Sep 1835 in GA Died at age 21
Jabez "Joe" Dean b. 15 Mar 1840 m. Lydia Ann "Jane" Gilmore
David E. Dean b. 20 May 1842 Died at age 15
Sarah Patience Dean b. 29 May 1847 in AL m. Henry Littleberry Richardson, s/o Augustus R. Richardson and Falby Cobb Brooks Gilmore
(I don't know if there was a relationship between Lydia Ann "Jane" Gilmore and Falby Cobb Brooks Gilmore Richardson)
My research shows all the children of Jesse R. Dean and Rebecca Smith Dean are buried
in this cemetery, but Jabez "Joe" Dean and David E. Dean do not appear in the original transcription.
I have not personally been to this cemetery, so I cannot verify whether their graves are there or not.
