Crews, b. 1 Jan. 1819 Jones Co., Ga., d. 2 June 1901, m. Margaret E. DuBose 25 March 1851 Early Co., Ga.. She was born 30 June 1831 S. C., died 15 May 1917. Issue: a. William Newton Crews, b. 21 April 1852 Ala., d. 3 Oct. 1865, buried New Hope Cem.. 3. Cynthia Crews, b. 24 March 1829 Ala., d. 16 June 1851, m. Wesley Bishop 24 Feb. 1848. He was born 20 Oct. 1819 in Twiggs Co., Ga., died 24 March 1884, son of William and Nan- cy Bishop. They are buried in the Bishop-Blair Cem.. He married (2) Louisa M. M. Laura Weaver 11 Nov. 1862, b. ca 1839, d. 4 July 1879. Issue (by 1st wife): a Nancy J. Bishop, b. 14 March 1849 Ala., d. 2 March 1914, m. James Harvey Long 14 Nov. 1867.
