ANN FENDALL BEALL married MR. EDWARD YOUNG, of Eufaula, Alabama. They lived happy together for many years and are sleeping their last sleep in the beautiful country of Eufaula. I visited their last resting place twelve years ago, and while sitting in a rustic seat near their marble tomb my mind turned back to my childhood when Ann was my confidant and the sportive happy spirit of the family, and she was so beautiful as well as good. I have gazed into her face and thought how beautiful and innocent she was. In her girlhood she gave her heart to God and was always cheerful and happy until rheumatism and suffering wore her down to a mere skeleton. Even then she was patient and at times cheerful. She was confined to her easy chair for thirteen years, when death released her from all her suffering. Her dying testimony was that: Jesus could make her dying bed feel as soft as downy pillows are."

Ann's husband survived her two years and died the death of the righteous. They had three sons and five daughters. One of the sons was killed in the War, the other died leaving a wife and two children. Another son died of apoplexy, leaving a wife and son. The youngest son is married and living in Eufaula in very comfortable circumstances, having a large family. Their daughters all married well, and are living in the city of Eufaula.

ELLEN AUGUSTA BEALL married WILLIAM H. YOUNG, a native of New York, but came South when he was eighteen years old, and finally settled himself and family at BEALLWOOD, three miles from the city of Columbus, Georgia. Mr. Young's house is known far and wide, his career as a business man was most successful. He was also a most benevolent man. His wife (my dear sister) engaged heart and soul in all of his enter-prises, especially those that contributed to the relief of the poor and needy. My sister was pious from childhood. How often have I looked at her enthusiastic face at the old Camp Meetings and feel that she was far above me in Christian enjoyment. Dear sister and brother are now resting side by side and their good works do follow them. They had twelve children and eight of them preceded them to the good world. Four sons are living and I hope that their mother's prayers will be answered and all will be reunited in Heaven
