James H. Fulcher of Johns Little Acre, Ebro, Fla., and Geneva, Ala.,
died Tuesday, Feb 25, 2003, at Wiregrass Medical Center after an extended
illness. He was 73. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at
Pittman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Shirah officiating. Burial will
follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee County, Al. In lieu
of flowers, contributations may be made to Geneva High School Scholarship
Fund.

Mrs. Elizabeth Irene Newberry Fleming of La Grange, Ga., and formely of
Geneva, Ala. (The Friendship Baptist Church Community)  died Tuesday, March
4, 2003, in West Georgia Medical Center. She was 88.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at Friendship Baptist
Church with the Rev. Danny Gill officiating. Burial will follow in the
church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the
service. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Flemming was born March 28, 1914, in Geneva County to the late Joseph
and Irene Finch Newberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr.
William Daniel "Dan" Fleming.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Mildred and Don Messer of
San Pedro, Calif., Carolyn and Mickey McCoy of La Grange, Ga.,  two sons and
daughter-in-law; William Flemming  of Anchorage, Alaska, Robert and Kathy
Flemming of Indialantic, Fla.;  one sister, Camilla Brantley of Arlington,
Va., 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Martha Faulk Loftin, age 92, of Ozark, died Wednesday morning, July 26,
2006 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Sunday, July 30, 2006 from Ozark Presbyterian Church with Reverend Randall Yelverton officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mrs. Loftin's body will be placed in the Church one hour prior to service time on Sunday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Loftin was born January 10, 1914 in Ozark to the late Annie Belle Clark Faulk and Henry Lee Faulk. She and her late husband owned and operated The Parker House Restaurant in Ozark during the early 1950's. She was a member of Ozark Presbyterian Church, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and various bridge, garden, and book clubs in both Ozark and Montgomery. Mrs.
Loftin was an avid music lover, especially music composed by her late son, Henry. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Loftin was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Eugene Loftin, two sons, Charles Eugene Loftin and Henry Claude Loftin.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Barbara Loftin of Jacksonville, Florida,

two grandchildren, Laura Loftin Glover and her husband, Kevin and Charles Alexander Loftin and his wife, Lidia all of Jacksonville, Florida,

five great grandchildren, Annie, Charlie, and Lucy Glover, Anthony and Claude Loftin all of Jacksonville, Florida,

two sisters, Miriam Faulk Dorsey and her husband, David of Opelika, and Mary Faulk Kaye of Chandler, Arizona,

special care givers, Rosie Matthews, Pearlie Carter, and Dianna Dabney all of Ozark.
