Veila Louise Brackin Green

 

Veila Louise Brackin Green with two of her grandchildren, Oscar Buford Green and Rachel Mildred Green, circa 1917.  Velia was the daughter of Mathias Brackin and Francis Dowling.  She married Ira Green and they had five sons: William Hardy, Iran Oscar, Lester, Alma and Shelley. They lived in Geneva until their deaths and are buried at Providence Cemetery."

Shelley Green

Baby photo of my great-great grandfather, Shelley Green. 
It was made sometime in 1894. 
He was the youngest child of Ira and Velia Green.

 

Shelley Green and Dollie Kelley

This photo is of Shelley Green and Dollie Kelley.  Dollie was the sister of Shelley's wife Myrtle.  I don't have a date for this picture but it was made in Geneva.  My great-grandparents were married in 1913, so this was probably made around the same time period.  I've always wondered why my great-grandmother wasn't in this picture.....Carla
