One of the best resources for the county are the cemetery records compiled by Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Phipps, 1962-1972. A copy of the two volume set is available here and at the Alabama Department of Archives & History.
The library also has the Reaper newspaper, original and on microfilm from about 1900 forward.

The Alabama Department of Transportation sells county road maps. These maps are very detailed, with many dirt roads (and cemeteries) shown. A county road map showing cemetery names and locations as well as township, range and section information is available for $1.35 each send a check or money order to.
