A LARGE CROWD OF SPECTATORS CAME TO SEE THE WAY FARMING USED TO BE DONE " THE OLD FASHIONED WAY " . HARD WORK , LONG HOURS BEHIND THE PLOWS IN GREENE COUNTY .

THE HOURS WERE SUNUP TO SUNDOWN TO RISE THE NEXT DAY AND START WHERE ARE GREENE COUNTY FARMERS LEFT OFF IN THE FIELDS THE DAY BEFORE DURING FARMING SEASON .

BEFORE MODERN DAY MACHINERY WITH TEAMS OF HORSES OR MULES .

YESTERDAY AT PLOW DAY , TEAMS HELPED PLOW A FIELD WHERE A CROP OF CORN AND PURPLE HULL PEAS WERE PLANTED.

THE "PLOW DAY EVENT " ATTRACTED SPECTATORS FROM ALL OVER NORTHEAST ARKANSAS , TENNESSEE AND MISSOURI. FOR THIS FAMILY EVENT . DEMONSTRATING A PIECE OF OUR GREENE COUNTIES HISTORY .
