Tina, I attended first grade at Alexander School in 1948. I can remember only 2 classmates-- Larry Robinson and Kenneth Meares. My teacher was Velma Evans. I remember she kept a white rabbit in the classroom and as a reward for good behaviior, she'd let students play with it during recess or at lunchtime. Another treat was watching a serialized film of "Tarzan", starring Johnny Weismuller. Each weekly film cost five cents. Stan Evans Napa, Ca.
