I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO RUN ACROSS THIS OLD NEWSPAPER EDITION AT A FLEA MARKET .

IT WAS REPORTED HERE TODAY THAT MR. AND MRS. JOE CLINE , WHO RESIDE TEN MILES WEST OF PARAGOULD , NARROWLY ESCAPED INJURY SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN LIGHTNING STRUCK THEIR FARM HOME. ONE SIDE OF THE HOUSE WAS BADLY DAMAGED BY THE BOLT.

PART OF THE WOODEN BED IN WHICH MR. AND MRS. CLINE WERE SLEEPING ON A FEATHER BED ALSO WAS TORN . THE ROOM WAS FILLED WITH SMOKE WHEN THEY WERE AWAKENED, IT WAS REPORTED.
