MOST OF THE POLES , PILING AND TIES AT THIS YARD ARE CUT FROM A LARGE TRACT OF TIMBER ON THE ST. FRANCIS RIVER ABOUT SIX MILES SOUTHWEST OF KENNETT AND RAFTED ON THE RIVER TO BERTIG.
