REV. O.C. WILLCOCKSON , AN OLD PARAGOULD AND GREENE COUNTY BOY , A NEPHEW OF FORMER SHERIFF T.R. WILLCOCKSON AND NOW THE PASTOR OF FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF LAS CRUCES , NEW MEXICO , ARRIVED THURSDAY MORNING FROM HIS NEW MEXICO HOME AND WILL CONDUCT A SERIES OF REVIVAL MEETINGS AT BROWN'S CHAPEL BAPTIST CHURCH , BEGINNING SATURDAY EVENING , JULY 31ST.

FOR SEVERAL YEARS REV. WILLCOCKSON HAS BEEN A RESIDENT OF FORT WORTH , TEXAS AND PASTOR OF TEXAS BAPTIST CHURCHES. IN CONNECTION WITH HIS PASTORAL WORK , HE PURSUED THEOLOGICAL STUDIES IN THE SOUTHWESTERN BAPTIST THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY , GRADUATING FROM THE INSTITUTION IN MAY LAST , WITH THE MASTER'S DEGREE . HE ACCEPTED A CALL IN MARCH FOR LAS CRUCES .

REV. WILLCOCKSON WILL BE SPEAKING TWICE DAILY AT BROWN'S CHAPEL FOR MORE THAN TEN DAYS . HE WAS COVERTED IN THIS OLD CHURCH IN HIS SIXTEENTH YEAR AND SERVED AS ITS PASTOR IN HIS SEVENTENTH AND EIGHTENTH YEARS.
