A. BERTIG FOR DELEGATE.

Mr. A. Bertig one of Pargould's biggist merchants and most successful business men will be a candidate before the state convention for delegate from the first congressional district to the Democratic National Convention at Chicago. There is no truer Democrat in the first district than Ad Bertig. He is a clear headed and sucessful party organizer and leader. He would reflect honor and credit upon his costituents as a delegate to Chicago. He has always been ready and willing to spend his time and money for the success of the party and has never asked for an office at the hands of the party. He is a genuine, dyed-in-the-wool 16 to 1 free coinage Demo-crat and would faithfully represent Arkansas Democracy at Chicago. His election as delegate would be a fitting tribute to his pary zeal and fealty. We hope the delegates from the other counties of the district will favorably consider Mr. Bertig's candidacy.
