A SALON KEEPER KILLS THREE POLICEMAN

DEC. 21 -- Passengers on the Cotton Belt Road report a horrible tragedy at Paragould station Ark. Tuesday night

Officer Bryan , of Paragould , was detailed to serve a warrant on John Williams who was charged with selling liquor contrary to the county law .

Williams was discovered by the officer disguised as a negro . Williams resisted arrest and during a running fire succeeded in mortally wounding

Officer Bryan and his two assistants . Williams was also wounded and will probaly die.
