Cary T. Cole was the owner of the Cole Hotel , he was a son of Dennis Cole who founded the Epsaba Community and donated the land for the cemetery in 1872 . Dennis Cole had a very large family fathered twenty six children . He is buried at Epsaba Cemetery .

Cary T. Cole served in the Confederate Army and served with General Price during the famous Missouri Raid . He was also a member of the Royal Arch Mason in the Paragould Chapter and the Blue Lodge at Gainesville. He is buried also at Epsaba , born Aug 3, 1845 died Jun 22,1925.
