My Dad ( Otto Morton ) and I have been visiting the cemeteries and taking photos of each marker of the ones that we could find left in the old and abandoned cemeteries. Some of the markers in this cemetery was in very poor shape .

Polly Robinson wed Joseph I. Nixon . Minerva Rabinson wed Thomas Tramel and mother of Mrs. Calhoun Norton of the southern part of Greene County .

Dr. Melton married the widow of Wiley Crowley after seving in the Army in Mexico , he was appointed Swamp Land Agent for the Helena District , Dr. Melton started a company for the confederate service and joined the 7th Ark Regiment called the " Bloody 7th " Dr. Melton took sick in Tennessee Army and was brought by home were he died and was buried on the old Crowley Homestead at Walcott.
