MARCH 16, 1909 - THE DAILY SOLIPHONE

DR. LAWRENCE HILL PERFORMED HIS FIRST OPERATION YESTERDAY AND DID IT IN SUCH STYLE AS TO INDICATE SOME DAY HE WILL BE KNOWN AS ONE OF THE BEST SURGEONS IN ARKANSAS.

THE PATIENT WAS CLYDE MEBENE , OF GREENWAY , AND THE OPERATION WAS A DIFFICULT ONE. MR. MEBENE WA BROUGHT HERE LAST WEEK BY DR. HILL AND ENTERED IN THE SANITARIUM , WHERE THE OPERATION WAS PERFORMED. WITH DR. HENRY DICKSON ASSISTING. DR. HILL RETURNED TO GREENWAY THIS MORNING.
