EARLY FARMERS
IN GREENE COUNTY
1800'S
I researched this information through geological reconnoissance of the
middle and southern counties of Arkansas,
made during the years 1859 and 1860. by David Dale Owen,
Principal Geologist, assisted by Robert Peter, chemical assistant; M. Leo Lesquereux,
botanist; Edward Cox, assistant geologist.
I hope it helps . Different test were run by the Geologist on soil from the land owners
in Greene County , Arkansas .
I will just list the Landowners
and were the property was located if said .
