E. Brilhart 1933

Funeral Services For E. Brilhart Tuesday Afternoon

Funeral services for Earl C. Brilhart, former local tavern owner found dead Saturday of a pistol wound near Paragould, Ark., will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Krohn and Berard Funeral Home, the Rev. Mewaldt officiating. Services will be private and burial will be made in Forest Hill cemetery.

Mr. Brilhart was born in Baltimore, Md., July 29, 1882 and came to Wisconsin Rapids last April. He had married Elizabeth Yeske Oct. 28, 1914.

He is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Brilhart, four brothers, William, David, Lawrence, and Russell, all of Maryland and three sisters, Mrs. William Merkel, Mrs. Charles Brown and Mrs. Jack Barnhart, also of Maryland.

Inquiries from here have brought no further information from Paragould as to the probable cause of his death, although a letter received here stated that it was felt by many there that there had been foul play in connection with his death.
