TED REEVES GREETED SPRING WITH THIS FISHING STORY:

HE HOOKED A SMALL EEL, THE EEL TANGLED THE LINE UNDER A ROCK. RATHER THAN BREAK THE LINE, REEVES LEFT IT OVERNIGHT . RETURNING, HE FOUND THE LINE UNTANGLED , WITH THE EEL AND A LARGE CATFISH AT THE END. THE CATFISH HAD TRIED TO EAT THE EEL , BUT THE SLIPPERY LITTLE FELLOW WIGGLED THROUGH THE CATFISH'S GILLS, LOOPED THE LINE AROUND THE LARGER FISH'S HEAD AND THERE THEY WERE.
