Take a ride down memory lane!

George Ray built his heads-up only dragstrip, in Paragould, Ar.
Opened in November of 1961, the all-concrete track was
originally a quarter-miler, then a 1000 footer and presently runs
1/8th mile only.  The shutdown area is 1500 feet.  Racing
starts the first Sunday in March and continues thru the third
Sunday in October.  2003 will be the start of the 43rd season of
racing. 

George Ray's is the Last
heads-up only dragstrip on the planet Earth.

George Ray's has been featured on Horse Power Tv , Espn, in Hot Rod Magazine and more.
