This is my Mother's parents, Henry & Emma Huckabay, and her siblings.  Later there would be two more girls and 4 boys. The 4 boys would die as infants.  One boy, Curtis, was already dead when this picture was taken.  Willie, shown here, fell into a wash kettle of boiling lye-water and died in about two weeks, because the burns would not heal.  My Mom said he was out of his head the day he died; I am sure it was from fever.  Of seven boys, she only raised Marvin.  Lucy is the only one living, she is 90.
