I thought I would post her email with her photo in case anyone else researching this name might contact the Farley Family.
Just want to let you know how much I've enjoyed your website. While helping my son with his school project over the last two days, I have come across information pertaining to my family (The Hookers). My dad (Fred Hooker) was born and raised in the Lafe area. His parents were Ed and Effie Hooker. John W. Hooker (owner of Hooker's Saw Mill) was Ed's uncle (my great-great uncle). I was able to find several family members' marriage information as well as the fun 1891 business advertisement which includes Hooker's Saw Mill. The sawmill was beside the Helena Branch of the St. Louis-Iron Mountain Railroad and the spot (I took the attached photo 16 years ago) became a flag-station known as "Hooker Switch". If there's anything else that can help us in our search for our family history, I'd appreciate your suggestions. Thanks for putting the effort into creating a great site. Sincerely, Jana (Hooker) Farley Gilbert, Arizona
