HOT FOR PARRISH

GAINESVILLE, ARK., 3, 23 , 1902

EDITOR OF THE SOLIPHONE :

I AM HOLLOWING HURRAH FOR EUGENE PARRISH AND FIND TWO THIRDS OF THE PEOPLE IN THIS PART OF THE COUNTY CRYING THE SAME. I TOLD YOU THAT PARRISH WOULD GET AS MANY VOTES IN GREENE COUNTY AS TAYLOR AND MACON BOTH , AND I AM GOING TO STICK TO IT UNTIL THE 29TH OF MARCH AND THAT WILL PROVE IT.

CAPT. MOSS SAYS TAYLOR WILL CARRY CLAY , GREENE , CRAIGHEAD , POINSETT, MISSISSIPPI AND I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY MORE , AND I DOUBT HIM CARRYING ANY OF THEM, EVEN CLAY WHERE HE FIRST STRUCK THE STATE WITH THAT LONELY QUARTER IN HIS POCKET.

JUDGE TAYLOR TOLD THE PEOPLE AT GAINESVILLE THAT PARRISH HAD MEMORIZED SPEECHES COMPOSED BY OTHER PEOPLE . I DON'T BELIEVE JUDGE TAYLOR COULD MEMORIZE THE SPEECH PARRISH DELIVERED AT PARAGOULD IN THREE YEARS' HARD STUDY .

SUCESS TO PARRISH AND THE SOLIPHONE .
