BY 8 O'CLOCK THE OPERA HOUSE WAS FILLED TO ITS FULLEST CAPACITY BY THE VISTING MEMBERS OF I.O.O.F. THE BURLESQUE , "INITIATION OF A CANDIDATE " , RENDERED BY THE LOCAL LODGE WAS GIVEN IN THEIR HONOR , AND FROM ALL APPEARANCES WAS WELL RECEIVED.

THE MUSICAL NUMBERS BY OUR YOUNG LADIES WERE PAR EXCELLENT AND THE ENCORES WERE MANY. NO TOWN IN THE STATE CAN BOAST OF AS MANY GOOD VOICES AS OUR FAIR CITY.

MRS. MARSHALL DESERVES SPECIAL MENTION FOR THE ARDUOUS LABOR SHE HAS GIVEN IN TRAINING HER PUPILS AND OTHERS FOR THIS OCCASION.
