THE LITTLE TOWN (WHICH IS TO BE ) AT THE EASTERN TERMINAL OF THE PARAGOULD

SOUTHEASTERN RAILWAY HAS BEEN SURVEYED AND PLATTED.

ITS NAME HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM CUNNINGHAM TO CARDWELL ,

THE LATTER NAME IN HONOR OF CASHIER CARDWELL OF THE

BANK OF PARAGOULD.

SEVEN LOTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SOLD IN THE INFANT TOWN OF CARDWELL BEYOND THE RIVER.

SALOON MEN HAVE BOUGHT THREE OF THE SEVEN.
