Marjorie Gladish (UNCLE LEE'S WIFE )

(April 20, 1914 - February 8, 2009)

Daisy Marjorie Gladish, 94, of Paragould, died Sunday, February 8, 2009, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Born April 20, 1914, in Paragould, Mrs. Gladish formerly worked for Ed White Shoe Factory and was a member of the Oak Grove Heights Church of Christ. \par Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Gladish and Terry (Rita) Gladish; and four daughters, Wilma Orr, Aleene Busby, Doris (Teddy) Jones, and Sharon Sessums, all of Paragould. She is also survived by one sister, Anna Hopkins of Corcoran, California; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; and by nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Peter and Nellie Williams; her husband, William Lee Gladish; one son, Sterling Gladish; one daughter, Juanita Fulenwider; two brothers; three sisters; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould. Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M., Wednesday, February 11th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Herbert Starr officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Knott Cemetery. Brandon Gladish, Rodney Gladish, Virgil Williams, Joe Thompson, Jake Moore, and Mikey Arant will serve as pallbearers.
