"Advertised as Six Big Days "

of interest , a whole week of solid fun , something doing every minute , this was Pruett Street as it appeared to early Paragould citizens in 1902 .

It was their first free street fair and carnival , an affair of six days from Sept. 22 to 27 , Advertising proclaimed "big imported attractions , a twentieth century midway , and three spectacular parades ."

Elaborate commercial and industrial displays completed a "great week of festivities in the best town in Arkansas."
