Potter's Field , Pauper Cemetery , Poor Mans Graveyard
These are just a few of the names given to cemeteries for the poor or insane with no family and left to be buried by the state or counties . I have not run across any records of the graveyard's in the cemetery records . So I decided to post the death notices I run across. Pauper records are hard to find so I will post information from other states and counties . Sometimes the paupers were moved to other poor farms when there was not enough money to take care of them .
