                            DEAD IN A SITTING POSTURE

                     Robert T. Lowry’s Body Found in Birmingham Hotel

       Birmingham, Ala., February 16 - - Robert Taylor Lowry, a young traveling man, was found dead in his room at the Florence hotel at 1 o’clock, this afternoon.

            Lowry represented the Paragould Medicine Company of Paragould, Ark. He was about thirty years of age. When found he was in a sitting posture on the floor, his body rigid and death had occurred some hours before. A quart bottle of whiskey, almost empty, and a pint bottle that had been recently emptied, in which was mixed laudanum, were also found.
