REPORT CORRECTED

DR. F.M. SCOTT CAME TO ME LAST NIGHT AND TOLD ME THAT HE HAD BEEN INFORMED THAT MISS IDA MAY ANDERSON , WHO LIVES WITH MAYOR J.T. HESTER , HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO SMALLPOX BY VISITING AT ED CARR'S , SINCE HIS BABY HAS BEEN BROKEN OUT WITH SMALLPOX , AND SOME ARE CONSURING DR. SCOTT FOR NOT QUARANTINING MAYOR HESTER AND FAMILY.

I WANT TO STATE FOR THE BENEFIT OF DR. SCOTT AND ALL TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN , THAT MISS IDA MAY ANDRESON HAS NOT BEEN INSIDE OF ED CARR'S PREMISES SINCE APRIL 19TH , 1902 , AND THAT WAS THE DAY THAT ED CARR LEFT HERE FOR TEXAS. SHE DID GO TO THE HOME OF ED CARR THE EVENING THAT DR. SCOTT QUARANTINED THE PLACE , BUT SHE ONLY REACHED THE GATE WHEN HER MOTHER , MRS. ANDERSON , THOLD HER NOT TO COME IN AS THEY HAD SMALLPOX. ALSO , SHE SAID THAT DR. SCOTT WAS THERE AND TOLD HER NOT TO COME IN; FUTHERMORE , MISS IDA MAY ANDERSON SAYS THAT SHE IS WILLING TO BE QUALIFIED TO THE ABOVE STATEMENT.
