family. It appears that his father was Rucker TANNER who was
born in Arkansas Abt 1826, married Martha A. ANDERSON, also born
in Arkansas; and had a sibling born in Arkansas, also - Jessy
TANNER -born Abt 1828. Martha would have been born Abt 1835. Any

- I am looking for information on my great
grandmother who lived and died in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was
b: October 15, 1875 in Lafayette County, Mississippi, (d:
October 22, 1936 in Blytheville, AR (buried: North Sawba
Cemetary / Moss Funeral Home) but I'm not sure when she moved to
Blytheville. Her name was Martha (Marthie) Elizabeth RUTLEDGE.
She married John Wesley BUNN on December 25, 1892 in Lightfoot,
Tennessee. Their children were: George W. BUNN, b: December ?
1893 d: abt 1943 or 1944, William W. BUNN, b: October 5, 1896,
d: ???, Charles L. BUNN, b: November 14, 1899, d: December 14,
1899(?), Leona BUNN, b: July 29, 1901, d: ???, (the above
children were all born in Lauderdale County, Tennessee. Jennie
B. BUNN, b: August 12, 1904, d:???, born in Mississippi County,
Arkansas, Warner G. BUNN, b: January 27, 1909 in ? Tennessee, d:
???, Ruby Sue BUNN, b:??? in Tennessee, d:???, Murl & Pearl
BUNN, b: March 14, 1915 in Tennessee, d: March 14, 1915. George
Washinton BUNN (my grandfather) married Lillie Mary GEAN on
September ? 1919. They produced four sons that I am aware of:
Junior BUNN, b: July 16, 1920 in Tennessee, d: January 1997,
James W. BUNN, b: April 4, 1923, d: ???, Charles H. BUNN (my
father), March 8, 1925 in Blytheville, Ar. (Yarbro is where he
was born and they were living at this time). Ray Eliot BUNN, b:
July 29, 1932. My father, Charles H. BUNN is still living in
Blytheville (Gosnell), AR. Again I am looking for any
information that will eventually lead me back to my great
grandmother, Martha Elizabeth RUTLEDGE.

have been a son Elmore R.. This family lived at Pecan Point from
around 1890 thru 1920? Trying to locate anyone who might have
known this family or who might have links to them. The two older
daughters were seamtriss,this might help as I have nothing on

following families. My grandmother was Josephine FERRELL she was
born in Frenchmans Bayou Ark. to Charlie and Allie (MUSICK)
FERRELL. Allie FERRELL was born 1894 in Gilmore Ark. Charlie was
born 1874 in Frenchmans Bayou . Allie's mother was Effie Joyner
married to Allie MUSICK. Effie's mother was Dora JOYNER married
to I believe Dr. Dewitt JOYNER Dr. JOYNER was one of the old
pioneers who helped make Mississippi County.His death notice
spoke very highly of him. Also would like information about the
Specks. I believe they are from Frenchman Bayou and owned
Speck&Company in 5/20/1909 and were also operators of the
Pratt Cotton Gin. Any help on these would be very helpful.

Robert E. Lee WILSON I was born 5 Mar 1865 at Frenchman's Bayou,
Mississippi, AR. He died Sept. 1933. He was married to Elizabeth
Adams BEALL. I believe his father was Josiah WILSON, sometimes
called Joseph. Josiah moved to Mississippi County from Tipton
County, TN.

- My Grandmother, Mary Magdaline SMILEY was
born abt. 1890 in Mississippi Co. Little is known of herr
family. We do know that through family history when she was a
young child her family died during a drowning; we tend to
believe this happened prior to 1910. She then went to work in
the home of unknown people. I have tried to find any information
out on her and this has proven to be unsuccessful. Would like to
have any information whatsoever. Thank You !

JACKSON, who lived in Ar. Blytheville area. He died Oct. 2,
1918. He had a half brother, Josephus (Ceph) who also died in
Blytheville in 1950. Ceph's wifes name was Mame. These brothers
had an Aunt they called Aunt Dune-Doon. Thats all i know on her.

Nathan BIGGS was married to Eliza TWEEDLE. They had 5 daughters.
The 4th was my GGGrandmother Francis Elizabeth BIGGS. B-1866
Dardanelle, Yell Co., Ark. Francis Married a Mathew BROWN and
moved to Okla to have her children about 1891. Also on 9 Sept.
1868 my gggrandfather John Maxfield WILLIFORD was born in Ark.
His parents were Maxfield Hensley WILLIFORD b- 5 Sept 1824 of
Tenn. and Cynthia Ann LEWIS of Alab. Tenn or England. John
WILLIFORD's wife was Zelpha Lucinda BOEN born 1876 of Ark. Her
parents being Christopher Columbus BOEN b-1858 Boston Mountains,
Ark. and Poll Ann RUSSEL b-1858 Boston Mountains, Ark. I have
not been able to trace any of these names any farther. They are
all buried in the same Cemetery and I have actual photos of that
place. I would like to give my Grandfather some insight to his
past. He left the family at the age of 14. He is 83 and still
rodeos for a living. The last of the true cowboys. Any help will
be most appreciated. I'd love to find living relatives.

Am searching for information on John Matthew ROSE, born in
Greene County, AR on Oct 21, 1840-42. Mother's first name was
Elizabeth--father's first name unknown. Father was listed as
born in VA and mother born in MO on several subsequent Federal
Census returns. John MATTHEW'S mother remarried, in Scott
County, MO in 1849 to Jacob Friend and John MATTHEW is listed in
the 1850 Census as living with them. John Matthew ROSE died in
Scott County, MO on February 4, 1911 and is buried in the
Anderson Cemetery at Commerce, MO. Any information about the
ROSE family in northeastern AR from 1800 through 1850 will be
appreciated. John Matthew ROSE was my great great grandfather.
Please note: John Matthew ROSE was almost always called Matthew
ROSE during his adult life.

was born about 1893 at Blythesville, Mississippi Co., Arkansas.
As a young child her family was killed in a drowning accident.
At this time she went to work in the home of someone in that
county as a house servant. This is all that we know of herr
