to the Amador County's Saving Graves website!
Here
you will find a short history of Amador County, California,
our exciting beginnings during the Gold Rush days of the 1850's,
and subsequent growth and development. We will also discuss
the many Ghost Towns that resulted in some of the cemeteries
long since forgotten.
We
will feature one of our Pioneer Cemeteries and list the records
of tombstones, and County record information we have available.

do not provide geneology research, but will be posting listings
of as many of the cemetery headstones, updating as information
