The earliest marked grave in the Aqueduct City Cemetery is that of Mary Ann (nee Bryerly) Lowry, who died April 24, 1866. According to a listing provided by Mary Vogt, the most recent marked grave is that of Barbara Wellfloy Fyfe who died in August of 1990.
The following burials are found to have occurred in the Aqueduct City Cemetery, the earliest of which dates to 1855. Family groups are listed in order of date of burial.

BOWER FAMILY
George Bower (1787 - July 5, 1871, by tombstone)
George W. Bower (June 2, 1818 - November 2, 1879, by tombstone)

That these two individuals were related to Edward B. Bowers who received the federal land patent in 1883, is most likely. Edward was likely the son of the first George Bower (1787-1871) and the brother of George W. Bower (1818-1879).

HENRY, Elizabeth (Dec. 2, 1841 - Aug. 24, 1882, by tombstone)

KENT, Abbie F. (1826 - Sept. 20, 1868) [Amador Dispatch]

According to the Amador Dispatch newspaper, Mrs. Abbie Kent, wife of E. A. Kent, died at Aqueduct City on September 20, 1868. A native of Salem, Massachusetts, she was 43 years old at the time of her death. According to information filed by the LDS Church, E.A. Kent married A.F. Ward in San Francisco on February 20, 1854.

By 1883, E.A. Kent was residing in Jackson and was appointed to be the superintendent of the County Hospital.

According to the Amador Dispatch newspaper, Mrs. Mary Ann Lowry, wife of James H. Lowry, died near Aqueduct City on April 24, 1866. A “beloved wife”, she was 31 years and 11 months old at the time of her death. The couple had been married in Manti, Sanpete, Utah.

Mr. Lowry remarried in 1869 to Delia Luttrell, the marriage taking place at Volcano. On April 18, 1882, Mr. and Mrs. James Lowry welcomed a new daughter into their family, she being born at Aqueduct City.

James Hazard Lowry was a native of Madison County, Missouri, the son of John Lowry and Mary Wilcox. [Submitting family member lives in Willows, California.]

According to information filed by descendant family, Joseph Francis Taylor and Mary Margaret Knight Galland were married May 7, 1827 at Edgar County, Illinois. Joseph was born at Greenville, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, the son of Simon Taylor and Elizabeth North. [The submitting family member resides in Kentucky.]

THOMPSON, Ritta L. (nee McFadden) (June 26, 1867 - Jan. 19, 1935)

WILEY, Edward Earl (June 3, 1877 - Oct. 19, 1879) [Amador Dispatch]

The Amador Dispatch notes the death of Edward Earl Wiley on October 19, 1879 at Wiley’s Station. He was the son of Edward and Alice Wiley. He was 28 months old and died as the result of a fall into a 60 foot deep well. Just previous to Edward’s death, it appears another son was born to this couple on September 20 1879, that event also occurring at Wiley’s Station.

From information located at the LDS Internet site, Edward Wiley was born about 1857 at Pine Grove, Amador County. He married Alice Lowry on May 16, 1876 at Jackson. [Submitting descendant family member lives in California.]
