This is the present Assessor's Parcel
Map showing the size of the Cold Springs Cemetery as it is today. From our
experience with the many other historic cemeteries in this county and elsewhere,
it is more likely that the cemetery was shaped as either a full square or
rectangle. Since all or portions of the fencing on three boundary lines
has been altered or removed, we cannot say for certain where the fence was that
was replaced in 1948 by Mrs. Louis Veerkamp and others.
We have attempted to
recreate what the cemetery boundaries probably were before Jerry Brown had it
surveyed out as he did in the late 1970s. In doing so, it is easier to see
how much of the actual cemetery land was taken during the subdivision

The cemetery gate is
located at the end of the access road before it enters the larger grounds of the
cemetery.
