          This listing is not a tombstone listing, but includes the names of all persons identified to this time (June 2002) who have been documented as having been buried, as probably buried and as possibly buried, in the County Hospital Cemetery.
          The listing identifies the names of those persons documented to have died at the County Hospital. Some documentation exists to identify that burial occurred at the hospital cemetery. Where possible we have tried to identify other cemeteries the deceased may have been buried. In those instances, their names do not appear on this listing.
          The third column, marked GRV indicates the Grave Number assigned by the hospital personnel. [Note: No record has been found to date representing the grave numbers which are absent in sequence with those shown on this list. It is not known if the graves simply were not used, or if someone forgot to record the number on the record of the deceased. Likewise, where grave numbers are duplicates, the original hospital records should be re-checked to determine if the abstract researcher recorded the number in error. If not, likely the hospital staff found someone else already in the grave intended for use and they merely moved to another location and failed to record the change in the register.]
