Section
B is located at the southeastern corner of the cemetery. There are
several problem areas in this section. There are at least 14 unmarked
graves that were located in the road. Grave #2 extends beyond and under
the present fence line. Grave #24 appears to overlap grave # 34, and quite
possibly has been intermingled with the northwestern corner of Grave #25.
Grave #71, which is
partially under the road, also appears to have been impacted by Grave #70.
Grave #100 is an unmarked grave that is partially located in a space of ground
"claimed" for future use by area residents, and will be impacted if
another full burial occurs in this space. (Grave #108 in this same
location came dangerously close to impacting Grave #107, which was unmarked and
unknown.)
Graves #25 and #18 are
unmarked graves in a space of ground that has been "claimed" for
future use by area residents planning to be buried in the Fair Play Cemetery.
Likewise, Graves #84 and #85 are within an area that was "claimed"
after the performance of the ground penetrating radar survey, by residents
intent on being buried at that location in the Fair Play Cemetery.
