Ground Penetrating Radar Survey
The
County has previously performed a ground penetrating radar survey on the
Georgetown Pioneer Cemetery. Amidst rumors of mismanagement and new graves
impacting old unmarked graves, the County stepped in to take over the management
and control of this most historic cemetery. EDCPCC has heard that some old
bones were removed from existing graves so that new burials could be made in the
previously occupied graves. It is our understanding that this occurred not
just before the County took over, but after.
