EGG THROWERS ACQUITTED.
L.
O'Brien, Arthur O'Brien, John
Lutz, David Cordell, John Keenan
and Frank Ranahan, charged with assault and
malicious mischief, were before Justice Cater
yesterday. They are charged with throwing eggs at W.
H. Parsons and H. P. Ross, the gripman
and conductor of a cable care. There seems to be a question as
to the age of the eggs and whether the court has jurisdiction
over cases involving fresh eggs and rotten eggs and the case
was continued in order the authorities might be consulted.
