Transcriber's Notes:

4. The ink is smeared across the first page of columns; the middle initial might be an "M" or R"; the first letter of the last name resembles an "S" but is unclear; the three or four letters following the second "f" s but might just be a upswing at the end of the word; parents name is clearly Sniffins; the town of birth might be Danbury as it has the right number of letters and the last letter comes below the line like a "y"

16. L????ett could be Leverett

17. D???ond could be Deimond, Deinond, Deamond or Deanond

19. Middle initial could be either an "S" or a "G"

20. ?oyt is probably Hoyt, but could be Koyt; Parents last name is definitely Hoyt; occupation-last word is indecipherable; first letter could be an  "n" or a partial "w", last letters might be "i" (there is a dot above) and "l"

21. J???n could be either Jean or Joan

29. Town of birth looks like it starts with "Say" but could be Seymour, all the letters after the "y" are close to the line, ruling out Saybrook

31. Cause of death should probably be Diarrhea; the work is consistently misspelled as Diarrhoea throughout the records

34. Je???ie could be Jeannie or Jennie

37. Dunla? the bottom of the last letter is cut off but appears to be a "p"

38. Mother's middle initial could be S or L

45. The word permit runs off the edge of the page

48. Howard ? Ferry-middle initial could be S or L
