This County Is In The South Central Region Of GeorgiaWelcome to Atkinson CountyAtkinson County, Georgia was created November 5, 1918 from Coffee and Clinch counties. The County Seat is Pearson. Atkinson County was named for William Yates Atkinson, Georgia's governor from 1894-1898.
